Find out how Edgar Garcia Chavez collaborates on set to experiment by using the tool of film to tell the story of colour. Host Joyce Kline discovers why Edgar chose to deal with the subject of racism in such a beautiful way in his short film, Black & White.

Edgar Garcia Chavez is a first generation Mexican-American creator that calls Oregon home. He loves how images can convey very strong messages and ideas without written explanations.

For the past five years, he's been involved in the local film community as a director and editor his own productions, as well as helping other people realize their projects.
